Successful Day!
Yesterday, Marcus and I went to some antique stores around town and found lots of goodies! I am working on a project that will remain a secret until I post the final pictures, but here are a few items we found that I will use.
Wooden crates
Planter baskets that I will re-purpose
Marcus cleaning out one of the wooden crates
Cute crocheted rug that I found for Kingsley's room for only $2.98!!
It was also a productive day around the house!
Even Kingsley helped!
And finally, my current crochet project!
Thank you Cris for the beautiful chunky weight yarn!
It's the first time I've used chunky weight and I have to say, I'm in love!

My Greatest Creation
Kingsley is 16 months old today! It has been so much fun watching him develop and learn this past year. Here's a sweet picture of him on Christmas Eve.

Crocheted Christmas
I am fairly new to the craft of crocheting so taking on the huge task of making all my Christmas presents this year was somewhat challenging. I spent an entire month searching for patterns and through many trials and errors I fine tuned my skills enough to be successful! In reality I finished close to 70% of my gifts within the two weeks before Christmas. Mostly because fall semester didn't end until the 13th and school took up most of my time. Nevertheless, it was fun and in the process I realized my passion for crocheting. Here are some of the finished products!
